This is the last week of new content (YAY!). Next week you will have a "final assessment" that takes the place of your final. It will not be a test, but more of a critical thinking exercise. You will have the whole week to work on the assessment.
All late or missing work from this semester is due by the end of the day on MONDAY, JUNE 15. After June 15, the ONLY thing I will be accepting is your final assessment. Please make sure you communicate with me as soon as possible if you have questions about missing or late work!

Monday: The First Gulf War
- Read the two articles about the First Gulf War and answer the questions.
- Watch and take notes on my lecture on 9/11.
- OPTIONAL: Watch clips from 102 Minutes That Changed America (Graphic Content Warning)
- Read the bullet point intro to the two wars.
- Visit and skim the timeline for each war. Choose four events from each timeline and summarize them on the worksheet.
- Watch the Crash Course "Obamanation" and answer the questions.
- Take the final Week 8 Review Quiz. You may use your notes and work from this week to help you, but you may not use the Internet.
- This counts as an ESSENTIAL ASSESSMENT for your grade.
