As you know, the activities I'm posting here are NOT due or included in the grade. The activities are for maintaining your skills and knowledge. It's recommended you participate in these activities so we can quickly get back to graded work when we return to school. For the few who may not be able to complete this, I will not rely on this as foundational knowledge when we return to school without giving you an opportunity to catch up.
This is the last week of optional activities. Next week (April 13-17) is Spring Break, where there will be no activities. Starting April 20, all students are expected to access and complete graded assignments. Please see the E-News for more information.
This week you will continue to examine the Industrial Revolution.
Activity 1: Use the readings about new technologies of the Second Phase of the Industrial Revolution to fill out the chart.
Activity 2: Watch the Crash Course on the Industrial Revolution and answer the questions.
Activity 3: Watch the original "The Lorax" and answer the questions - think about how the story of the Lorax represents the changes made by the Industrial Revolution!
